SHARE-A-RIDE:

In addition to the ADA-Paratransit Services that are available whenever regular fixed route service is offered, Eureka Transit offers a demand-response (curb-to-curb) service year-round, Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays when our offices are closed (see Schedule) from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This program is open to the general public for circumstantial travel. As with ADA-Paratransit Service, Share-A-Ride is "next-day service". Riders must call the Transit Office (253-9572) no later than 4:00 pm the day before a ride is needed. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and must include the pick-up times for the initial pick-up and for each scheduled stop. ADA-Paratransit eligible riders will be given a time from 1 hour before to 1 after their requested pick-up times. For further information, please call the Transit Office at (479) 253-9572.

ADA-PARATRANSIT/SHARE-A-RIDE FARES

For trips originating and ending within the City Limits of Eureka Springs: $1.50 per boarding For all other trips: 0 to 7 miles: $2.00 per boarding 7 to 15 miles: $4.00 per boarding 15 to 25 miles: $6.00 per boarding More than 25 miles: $8.00 Plus $1.00 Per Mile Over 25 Miles, per boarding Deadhead fees: For one way trips, rider will be charged for one way ride plus 1/2 of one way fare. Driver Wait fee: For trips outside of Carroll County, there will be a Driver Wait fee of $1.50 for every half hour the driver waits for rider.
